The Last Times – 後來的時候
1 Timothy 提摩太前書4:1-3
1. THE WARNING CONCERNING “THE LAST TIMES” - 有關”末世”的警訓.
A. The Holy Spirit speaks “expressly” about the last times.
聖靈”明說”有關末世的事.
B. Could we be living in the last times, now? 現今,我們活在末世嗎?
1 John 約翰一書2:18
2. THE PATH OF THOSE WHO GIVE UP IN THE LAST TIMES
在末世,人離棄他們所行的路.
A. They decided to depart from the faith. 他們決意背離信仰上帝
1. Look at the traditional method of departing.
看看他們常用來背離上帝的方式 Romans羅馬書 1:21-32
a. They were not thankful that they knew God.
他們知道神卻不感謝祂 Romans 羅馬書1:21
b. Their imaginations became the source of their faith.
他們的虛妄成了他們信仰的源頭.
c. Their wisdom was foolishness. 他們的聰明反成了愚拙
d. They changed the truth of God into a lie.
他們將神的真實變成虛謊
e. They chose not to remember the truth about God.
他們選擇遺忘神的真實
f. They loved those who were godless. 他們喜歡不認識神的人
2. Look at the reaction of God. 看看神的回應
a. God gave them over to uncleanness. 神任憑他們污穢
b. God gave them over to vile affections.神任憑他們邪惡
c. God gave them a reprobate mind. 神任憑他們的心智墮落
B. The downward trend of the departing 背離墮落的趨勢
1. They became open to the leading of seducing spirits.
他們開始順從引誘人的靈

2. They justified their actions by redefining Scripture.
他們曲解聖經的教導使他們的行為合理化

3. They knew that they were doing wrong, but convinced themselves
that they were right. 他們明知所行的是錯的卻說服自己認為是對的.

4. They changed the clear teaching of scripture. 他們改變聖經清楚的教導

a. More strict than Scripture 比聖經教導的更嚴厲
b. Or more liberal than Scripture 比聖經教導的更開放
2 Peter 彼得後書2:19
3. THE REMEDY 補救辦法
A. They needed to repent of self willed religion and sin.
他們必需要在自己的罪和自己任意而為的信仰上悔改.
B. They needed to fight their natural desire to return to that illusion of
freedom that is really bondage.
他們必需要抵擋自己屬血氣的慾望,認清真正束縛自己的是那種虛幻的自由
C. They needed to submit to the Lord under the direction of a godly church
and let the Bible be their authority.
他們必需降服在神面前,在敬虔教會的教導下,以聖經為準則.
